I am about to head off to college and have never done my own laundry. It was always just easier for my mom to do my whole families because we only had one washer and one dryer. It is a pretty simple task so I am not worried about doing it. There is a laundry machine in my apartment and I am so thankful I won't have to go to a laundry mat. http://www.master2yourdoor.com.au/services

The name is a bit misleading. The dry cleaning process isn't actually dry at all, it simply means that water isn't used in the process. At a commercial dry cleaners they use washing machines that are filled with a solvent to clean the garments, but no water. The reason it's necessary to do this is that some fabrics, like silk, rayon and wool blends, don't react well to the hot water in a domestic washing machine and can stretch and become misshapen. The strength of the solvent used also means it can often tackle stains that normal washing can't shift.

Your article was hilarious. I remember that my dorm room was almost never clean due to my dirty clothes being scattered all over the place. Do you know if laundry services are available for most 4 year universities? I found these videos pretty funny and slightly true. All college students don't like doing laundry so it does make sense. Depending on where you live, there might not be a washer and dryer at your home or apartment.
